The Heavens Declare

Ministering the Awe of God to the People of God:

• Let all the earth fear the Lord; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.
  – Psalm 33:8 (NKJV)

Thought: The Earth, the Sun, the Moon, and our atmosphere are all that are necessary for there to be life on earth, and thereby a place for mankind to find and know God. Why then did God place all the stars in the heavens and why did He name them all? And why does God have the Earth to speed through space at 66,600 miles per hour as it orbits the Sun on a certain path every year?

This is a special presentation using astronomy software with projection onto a large screen. With Psalm 19:1-6 as our launching pad, we will help people to become awe struck with the greatness of God by looking at the revelation of God through His creation of the night sky. God created the constellations in the heavens (Mazzaroth – Job 38:31-33). We will show how their original purpose was to declare the story of the glory of God. It will become evident to us why Satan perverted this truth into what we know today as astrology. The stars have no power to influence life on earth; they simply declare the story of God’s glory for all mankind to see and hear so that all men are “without excuse” before God.

Using computer software we will travel back to the time of the birth of Christ and observe the star of Bethlehem. We will see what the wise men saw that caused them to travel to Jerusalem to seek the newborn King. Finally we will look at unusual happenings in the heavens the day Jesus was crucified.

This presentation is powerful and very evangelistic. It will help put the awe of God back into the body of Christ. It will cause unbelievers and casual believers to stop and think about a God Who has proven Himself to all mankind and has written it in the stars.
