The Father Loves You:

Ministering the Love of God to the People of God:

"Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!" –1 John 3:1 (NKJV)

The single most important concept for the child of God to know is this: The Father loves you, He really, really loves you! For 29 years I had preached recurrently about the love of God. Then in the spring of 1994, the Holy Spirit immersed me in the Father’s love while attending the Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship in Toronto, Canada. God gave me five visions of the depth of His love that have impacted my life forever. Since then I have shared this message with many congregations. The results have been major transformations in the lives of God’s people. The depth of the transformation in my own life is still unfolding even to this day.

“God is love.” Add to this the two great commandments, “Love God”, and “Love others”, and it becomes abundantly clear that love must become the foundation of the Christian life. Jesus said it would be love that would make all men know we are His disciples. And Paul taught us, “Without love I am nothing.”

I know of no other subject that will impact God’s people with such life changing force as being baptized in the Father’s love. It is what most of them have been looking for since they came to Christ. Peace, security, and destiny are natural by-products of those who experience the revelation of the Father’s love.
